The Leave Nothing to Chance campaign challenges our belief in luck. Popular thinking is a belief that the good or bad fortune in life is caused by accident or chance which happens beyond a person’s control.
“I’d rather be lucky than good” is attributed to Lefty Gomez, pitcher, for the New York Yankees from 1930 to 1942. It’s cool when Lefty says it….maybe not so cool when it comes from the mouth of your financial advisor .
